Desire Is Strange.

Desire is strange.
Sometimes, when watching
Interviews or dramas,
I see qualities that would
Make me

Fall in love,

If given enough time and if relevant
Accompanying facets
Would shine brightly.

But never have I met one with
The same humor,  or unique thoughts,
Kindness, or silliness
In quite the right amounts.

Or at all, if I’m honest.

So, do such people exist?
Or are they only characters
 In the minds of authors?

It’s not perfection that seems
Interesting.
Just, interesting people
Would seem perfect.

And would I be notable
In the same way?
Kind or funny enough
To warrant the same?

Or are those qualities
Similarly fictitious
As I apply them to myself?
